I have an enduring love for the arts and believe that every young person should have an education that includes training and development in some form of creative and performing arts.  I'm compelled to support and enrich the lives of youth of all ages so that they are well-rounded and talented individuals equipted to create their own success in life!

Caprenia Anthony is Founder and Director of WAVE, Inc. and President of CaPant, Inc. specializing in Events, Event management, Production, Project Management and Entertainment.

Performing Arts is a passion and way of life for Caprenia, having grown up in Mobile, Alabama. She was a cheerleader for twelve years, performed on her university's dance team and is a former High School queen, Miss Tennessee State University, competed in the Miss USA system while holding several local titles, served as choreographer and producer for the Miss Birmingham Heritage Pageant and Pageant Choreographer for the Miss Black and Gold Pageant and founded the first ever Ms. Southwestern Athletic Conference Pageant.




She made her theater debut as Helen in "To Kill A Mockingbird" and casted in a variety of roles for various plays starting at an early age.  Her musical theater debut, she scored the lead role in CHICAGO starring as Roxie Hart and was then later tapped to star as opposite leading role, Velma Kelly in the  same musical.  Caprenia has captivated audiences on stage headlining most recently as the leading role, Deloris Van Cartier in SISTER ACT THE MUSICAL  and a host of other leading roles in Dreamgirls, AIDA, Smokey Joe's Cafe, Beehive, Ain't Misbehavin, Respect, Back to the Dream, Ain't Nothing But the Blues to name a few. 
Caprenia has an extensive background and credits in print, commercials, training videos and voice-over work for BMetro Magazine, Southwest Airlines Spirit,  Birmingham Post-Herald, Birmingham Weekly, Birmingham Magazine, Portico Magazine, ​Birmingham Convention and Visitor's Bureau, Hyundai, UPN 68, Dale's Seasoning, AmSouth Bank, First American Bank, Je Spa, Regions Bank, Civitan International, BBVA Compass Bank, Bham mag.com, All Kids, Corrections Corporation of America, Keeping Up With the Walkers (drama-series), McDonald's, Lawson State Community College, Green Home Alabama (Host), Southern Living Cooking School (Host) featured in Wal-Mart Superstores, Milo's, Souther Food Markets, Piggly Wiggly, Alabama Public Television, Birmingham Heathcare, Vehix.com, Lowe's Unwind and Design (Host) and a host of other credits!



She has trained and worked with several area Birmingham City School dance and cheerleading teams and has provided  health and wellness dance camps for girls organizations.

Functioning as a seasoned coach, trainer, choreographer in cheerleading, dance, pageantry, and musical theater, she serves as judge, trainer, mentor and Mistress of Ceremonies for local competitions and events.

Caprenia performs at business and community events throughout the city and is known for her rendition of the National Anthem performed at sporting events.  

She also speaks to groups in a fun and entertaining style on, "How to Market yourself 24/7" and "What's All the Drama About? How to Outclass the Competition".
